Steps to do: Kneel on the floor with your feet flat on the ground. Cross your left leg over your right while standing on your hips. Grab your right foot with your left hand and your left foot with your right hand. Bring both legs as close to your torso as possible. Hold for a minute or two, then return to starting position and do the other side. How it works: Since your glute muscles are used every time you lift, move forward, or lower your body, they can be one of the causes of back pain. Stretching helps release tension in your body and relieves discomfort in your back.
